The short version
This site does not sell anything, does not have user accounts, and does not sell or share personal data. It collects the minimum needed to keep the site running and to know which pages are useful.
What is collected automatically
Like any web server, this one records a technical log of requests: the IP address making the request, the page requested, the time, the browser identification string and the page that referred you. These records exist for security and troubleshooting, and are kept for a limited period.
Where the site uses an analytics service to count visits, it is configured to measure pages and sources, not to build a profile of you. If and when such a service is enabled, it is named on this page.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a technical cookie if you leave a comment or log in to administer the site. A caching layer may set a technical cookie to serve pages faster. You can block or delete cookies in your browser without losing access to anything here.
If you write to us
If you send an email, the message and your address are kept for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections. They are not added to any marketing list and not passed to anyone else.
Third parties
Pages may link to other sites, including brokers, platforms and software vendors. Once you follow such a link you are on their site, under their policy, not this one. Where a link earns a commission, the page carrying it says so: see disclosures.
The site is hosted by a commercial hosting provider, which processes the technical logs described above on our behalf.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Ask through contact and it will be answered.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the change appears here with a new review date at the foot of the page.
